Acne
By Wanto
Acne is a disease of the skin and its medical name is
seborrheic dermatitis. It is sometimes called Acne Vulgaris. Adults are also
prone to this skin problem.
Acne occurs when the sebaceous glands fail to function
normally. In a healthy skin these glands release oil that rises through the
pores onto the skin surface. If the pores become clogged, then toxic oil is
formed that cannot escape onto the skin. If the acne is treated before this
stage is reached, you can prevent scarring. The toxic matter will contain dirt,
bacteria, acid waste, excess sebum oil and dead skin. It is very important to
understand that the whole body has to be treated. The eruptions on the face are
a clear indication that the normal process of the body is not working as it
should. Acne can be caused by any under performing part of the body which can
cause the blood to carry too much toxicity.
So how do you go about helping the body to return to a
normal level of working?
You will need to be guided in the ways to rid the body of
all the toxins and then how to keep the body in this enhanced state. Acne No

Understanding Acne - The Basics
It is a problem which occurs in many millions of people
worldwide. It can cause anxiety, inferiority, insecurity, depression,
self-consciousness and frustration. Acne appears in a number of forms which
include blackheads (the most obvious form), whiteheads, cysts or pimples. The
definitions of acne are:
Blemish - skin flaws. Pimple - any inflamed but small
prominent raised portion of the skin
Blackhead - a skin condition which is seen as a black spot. Bacteria
is another factor. In the case of severe acne, scarring or pitting of the skin
can take place. Deep acne scars are very unsightly and may prompt the sufferer
to visit a doctor or dermatologist. Also over the counter products are not
going to address the root cause of the problem. One product that has been known
to cause depression and severe birth defects is Accutane. Cleansing the skin on
a twice daily basis is good to remove dirt and dead skin cells that can cause
the pores to clog. Over washing the skin can lead to a dry skin and/or
irritation.
